Everything was perfect. We only stayed a single night, but we were given fantastic service. The room was very clean and attractive with amazing views. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of amenities and thoughtful extras. The breakfast was delicious, especially the sfogliatine. We also ate at the restaurant that evening, which was equally impressive. The waiter was incredibly helpful and friendly. He took the time to ensure we got a good taste of everything the restaurant had to offer, which was all delicious without exception. If you're a traveller thinking of staying near La Spezia then you should look no further. This is a perfect place to rest your head.

If you ever find yourself in the area, you need to stop and eat the panigacci here. The food is amazing, the staff is fantastic, the view is breathtaking. The bill too is pretty reasonable. The panigacci with pesto are my favorites. They also have a small playgrounds for kids and a nice grass area.

Second visit we have made and the second time we have really enjoyed our stay. We booked in the B&B, very clean rooms with everything you need with fabulous views. The evening in the restaurant was again excellent with great food and friendly service. The following morning after a really good night's sleep in the quiet mountain atmosphere, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast in the fresh mountain air. Well worth the drive up the mountain Road to visit Da Gambin

Lovely atmosphere and amazing food. The panigacci are perfectly cooked and served warm off the fire. Particularly loved the first serve with mushroom sauce and pesto.

Forget Michelin guides etc, the place is well worth a diversion, if you seek authenticity and simple tastes.

From the first course with the tris di panigacci (with pesto, sugo con fungi e olio con formaggio)to the second course with salamelle and affettato to dessert with nutella, definitely a gastronomic experience!

Our cousins brought us here to eat a local dish: Panigacci. We had an amazing meal, with wonderful, friendly service. Because it was our first visit, we even got to go and see the oven where they make the panigacci. Don't miss the gorgonzola dolce or the Nutella!

You just tell them what you like and the quantities and they’ll make it happen! They serve panigacci, a type of round, unleavened bread, baked in a special terracotta dish, red-heated in a wood-burning oven. You can eat it boiled or crunchy, and combine it with cold cuts, cheeses, various sauces and, as you can see, even with Nutella! We started with an appetizer of boiled panigacci: oil and parmigiano, local pesto, and mushroom sauce. Our main course was crunchy panigacci with sliced meats, stracchino, blue cheese, and grilled veggies. We ended the meal with panigacci and Nutella! What a phenomenal meal! As far as the location it is a bit out of the way, but totally worth it for the food experience, the wonderful staff and the views!
